How to Train Your Dragon —- How to Train Your Dragon 2: Comparison Shots

I’m sorry I keep posting about this movie (not really) but another thing I really love about it is the ENORMOUS jump in animation quality between the first one and this one—only four years apart. Between the films with stuff like The Croods, Dreamworks really took a few levels in mastering things like detail and polishing—as well as developing the style a whole lot. It’s pretty impressive seeing so much progress in a few short years. Little things like hair and skin texture, lighting, and fine lines on faces give it a lot more depth. I’m excited to see how they develop from here.
